Q & A

  • What does “living your best Bay Area Life” mean to you?

While it’s a bit cliché, in truth the Bay Area offers just about every outdoor activity imaginable. Living my best Bay Area life has always meant getting outside and “playing” in nature. On more than one occasion, I’ve been riding my bike through the redwood groves on the west side of Kings Mountain and I’ve just felt a smile come across my face, in spontaneous appreciation of the beauty all around me. More recently I’ve been experiencing the joy of watching my kids start to truly appreciate this incredible place too.
  • What are some of the challenges you face living in the Bay Area?

How to provide perspective for my daughters of how lucky they are to grow up here!
  • If you volunteer for a charity, which one(s) and why?

I’ve been fundraising for King Ridge Foundation for a few years. They create programs for underprivileged kids in the North Bay. This cause has become increasingly important to me as I’ve watched my own kids develop and seen how many resources it takes to help them thrive.
