Joe Martin
Director, Private Client Group
Joe has over 13 years of experience in the investment industry advising
clients on a broad range of financial needs including investment planning,
tax and estate planning, retirement and college planning, and insurance. As
Director of the Private Client Group, he is responsible for the overall
management of advisory and planning services for the firm. Prior to Golub
Group, Joe began his career at Hoefer and Arnett Inc. where he worked
closely with Michael Golub and Colin Higgins advising over 200 clients with
assets of $180 million under management. Joe received his Bachelor of Arts
in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles and is
currently enrolled in the Boston University Online Program for Financial
Planning. He lives in Redwood City with his wife, Erika, and sons, Alex and
Dominic.

Sherry E. Williams, CFP®
Senior Financial Advisor
Sherry is a Senior Financial Advisor manager working directly with
clients to establish and implement portfolio strategies based on
individual client objectives. She joins us from Bank of New York Mellon
Corporation, who in 2001 acquired Van Deventer and Hoch, where she was a
partner and had worked since 1990. Sherry has a BA in Sociology with
minors in Business and English, a certificate in personal financial
planning from the University of California, Los Angeles and is a
Certified Financial Planner. Sherry is also a member of the CFA Society
of Los Angeles, the CFA Institute and the Financial Planning
Association. Sherry resides in Pasadena with her husband of 15 years and
their two boys. She is active with the Barnhart School in Arcadia and is
on the Pasadena American Little League board and on the Planned Giving
committee of Arcadia Methodist Hospital.

Cynthia Duncan
Senior Financial Advisor
Cynthia brings over 14 years of financial services experience to the
Golub Group. As a Senior Financial Advisor for the Golub Group,
Cynthia is responsible for managing our relationships with our
financial partners in addition to managing client relationships and
business development. Prior to joining the firm, Cynthia managed
several Bay Area branch offices for Charles Schwab and Citibank. For
over a decade, she has been building her career in financial
services based upon her genuine passion for serving the financial
needs of individuals and families. Cynthia received her Bachelor of
Science in Accounting from Santa Clara University where she is
actively involved as a part-time lecturer for the Leavey School of
Business. Cynthia lives in San Jose with her husband, Matthew, and
their three children.

Tracy Jao, CFP®, CPWA®
Senior Financial Advisor
Tracy is a Senior Financial Advisor at the Golup Group. She has been
in the financial service industry since 1999. She specializes in
providing comprehensive financial planning advice, which includes
strategies for college funding, tax and estate planning, and retirement
strategies. Tracy started her career by working at Merrill Lynch as a
financial advisor, and then she moved on to Charles Schwab Private
Client Group service as a portfolio consultant. Prior to joining the
firm, Tracy worked at YCMNET Advisors where she was a senior wealth
advisor. Tracy was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, and is fluent in
Mandarin. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law from National
Taiwan University. Tracy is a Certified Financial Planner® and Certified
Private Wealth Advisor®. She is a member of the Financial Planning
Association (FPA).

Claire Silverman
Financial Advisor
Claire serves as a Financial Advisor to clients of Golub Group.
In this capacity, she is responsible for advising clients on a broad
range of financial needs including investment planning, tax and
estate planning, retirement and college planning, and insurance.
Since joining the firm in 2004, Claire’s primary responsibility has
been to work with clients and the firm’s portfolio management team
to implement investment strategies designed to help clients achieve
their financial goals. She meets regularly with clients to review
their investments and financial needs and also works collaboratively
with their other professionals (CPAs, attorneys) to help them take
care of their overall financial well-being. Prior to joining the
firm, she served as a Client Service Specialist at Bonham’s &
Butterfields Auctioneers in San Francisco. Claire received a BA from
UC Davis in Art History and Design and has earned a certificate in
Personal Financial Planning from UC Santa Cruz.

Eric Jungling
Associate Financial Advisor
Eric is part of the Private Client Group and serves as a
financial advisor with 12 years of experience in the financial
services industry. Eric advises and builds client relationships
by finding strategies best suited for each client household in
the disciplines of investment management, retirement planning,
college planning, tax and insurance needs. Eric’s collaborates
with tax advisors, estate attorneys and insurance specialists to
bring together the knowledge necessary to create a sound
financial blueprint for clients. Before joining Golub Group,
Eric served in the Asset Management and Client Services
divisions of Charles Schwab & Co. in San Francisco. Eric holds a
Bachelors of Arts degree in Business Economics from the
University of California at Santa Barbara and has earned a
Certified Financial Planner Certificate from UC Santa Cruz.
